Hioki PW3365-20 Power Logger

Hioki Clamp On Power Meters are multi-channel power measuring devices utilizing clamp sensor input to accurately and safely measure power on single-phase to three-phase lines. The PW3365-20 power logger takes safety and convenience one step further by being the world’s first non-metallic contact power meter that utilizes completely covered voltage clips that can be attached to any part of a cable or busbar. Customers can now monitor power demand and other power parameters to aid in energy audits and validate energy saving measures without risk of short-circuit accidents, power interruptions, or bodily injury due to electrocutions

Principal Applications
* Power management in factories and buildings
* Maintenance and management of electrical equipment

  • No Metal Contact Voltage Sensors - Use on Insulated Wires
  •  Current Sensor Options from 500mA to 5000A Full Scale
  •  3 Voltage and 3 Current Inputs
  •  Leakage Current Measurement
  •  Graphical Color LCD Display
  •  Battery or AC Powered
  •  PC & LAN Connectivity

The Voltage Sensor PW9020 used by the PW3365-20 is able to perform non-contact measurement by means of the principle described below.
Inside the PW9020 is a metal plate that serves as an electrode, and when this electrode detects a voltage (potential difference) in the object being measured, a minuscule current flows to it. By generating a voltage such that this current is eliminated, the sensor can accurately measure the voltage in the conductor.
